Question by Luby: Should I purchase a steamer or an iron?

If you used a steamer please let me know if it is worth buying. Is it faster than using an iron, and is it more comfortable? What can I rely on if I need my clothes ironed before work every morning?

I like to have both. I think the iron is better for detail work and the steamer is better for large areas, like a tablecloth or the back of a jacket. I think the steamer is easier on woolens, doesn’t give them a shine.
