Question by eittleyellogurl: Does a Garment Steamer produce the same results of a: steam/nonsteam iron or steam generator?

I’m looking for something practical, easy to use — And I’m lazy so I heard you can just hang garments & steam them with the garment steamers. But are they better than irons or a steam generator? I’m just not good at ironing on boards.

I have tried both steamers and steam/nonsteam irons. I have never ever had a steamer actually do anything to clothing. The iron produces immediate results.
